Youthful Glow Face Cream

I turned 30 years old in November and I have honestly never really thought about the aging process until this point. I am not the type of person who stresses about wrinkles, or grey hair, or sagging skin. I have just gone with the flow of life and I hope to keep doing that! BUT, I will say, that I have started to notice my crows feet and “eleven” wrinkles in between my eyes. I know my crows feet are from laughing and smiling, so those don’t bother me. My eleven wrinkles are definitely from the “what the what?” face I give to my husband a hundred times a day :).

It is great that my awareness of my aging face and my Young Living essential oils journey started about the same time. I started using Young Living essential oils in October and have started becoming majorly aware of the chemicals and toxins in seriously EVERYTHING I have been using over the past 30 years. But this next 30 I am going to do better for myself and my family. So I now make my own face cream and I LOVE it! I am not bragging, because as I said, I’m a mama with wrinkles, but I have been receiving compliments from my friends and family (and random strangers) about how great my skin looks!

I don’t know if I can say that this face cream is reducing my wrinkles, but I CAN say that I believe it gives me a youthful glow and that in and of itself is worth it to me. Also, this cream is SUPER inexpensive to make. I bought the Coconut Oil at Hyvee for I think $5 and the Shea Butter from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon which made it around $5 as well. I made three face creams with those products. Also, my Lavender and Frankincense came in my Young Living Premium Starter Kit. If you are interested in more information about Young Living essential oils or purchasing the Premium Starter Kit OR just Lavender and Frankincense, please email me at acreageofgrace@gmail.com!

So enough chatter, below is the recipe that I used to make my Youthful Glow face cream. This made a 4 ounce mason jar full and I am expecting this to last at LEAST 6 months.
